Advertorial: Eucerin Even Brighter Serum Concentrate Challenge – Week 3

It’s the third week of using the Even Brighter Serum Concentrate ampules and so far so good. At some point, I started applying the serum all over my face (because I was in a hurry and didn’t have the patience to apply to targeted spots) and I noticed that my skin felt a little clogged and gunky. This is what happens when you go against the instructions of a product. The serum specifically states that it should be applied on affected areas only – I was just being lazy. Once I exfoliated and started applying the product in very measured small doses on targeted areas as instructed, my skin was breathing again.

This week’s video with Dr. Mpofu delves into the question of why pigmentation seems to be more prevalent in our skin as Black people. Do genetics play a part? Is it the fact that we generally live in hotter climates and therefore more sun exposure? What about treatments of this condition? Watch the video below to hear Dr. Mpofu explain.
